Most people who don't know much about Cyber Security think that hacking is criminal work. They just act judgemental on hearing the word "HACKING". Hacking is professional and legal work.

The main problem in learning hacking is we do not know about the things they tell us about in courses or books. If you want to learn to hack, you need all these 10 skills under the scroll to become a good hacker.

#1. Linux Skills

From Linux skills, I mainly refer to Kali  Linux. It is basically an operating system that contains all the major tools and software which are used to learn to hack. It is a genuine Operating system used by real hackers to hack into systems and networks.

For learning hacking, you need to have a deep understanding of Kali Linux. both a command-line and graphically.

#2. Using Virtual Machines

Now using Kali Linux can be tricky. You might give a bad command which could harm your host operating system. To avoid this software like VIRTUAL BOX has been created by oracle. This works with Windows as well as mac os.

The Virtual Box creates a virtual environment to run another operating system. This way even when you by mistake give a wrong command during learning to hack It will not affect your host computer.

#3. Network Skills

Learning about components of a network like a router, ipv4, ipv6, mac address of a device, switches, public IP, local IP, ports, HTTP, HTTPS, HSTS, etc.

A basics understanding of the network is very very important for hacking. You need to under how packets of the site you want to go to travel from the router and load in your computer

Hacking also requires booting information. You need to learn how to install an operating system on a computer from a bootable pen drive. A bootable pen drive is a modified pen drive in which you can upload or copy an operating system.

Booting information also includes how to bypass a normal PC or laptop's password.

#6. Registry (Regedit)

This is what the windows registry looks like. Although you don't wanna use an operating system like windows for hacking its registry is very important.

#8. Programming Languages

YOU do not need to require to learn many languages to learn to hack, though learning languages helps in a better understanding of hacking. The main languages which are very important in hacking are PYTHON, JAVA, JAVA <SCRIPT>, and a basic understanding of HTML.
