    Sleep is more important for your health than you think. Good quality sleep can certainly change your life. Your brainpower will be increased and you will lose some fat.
 
This is not click-bait. A research proved that good quality sleep can result in weight loss. But most people nowadays don't have quality sleep. Some can even sleep at night. So, here are some awesome techniques to get quality sleep.

 1.Avoid eating before sleeping


    Most people don't know about it, but you should avoid eating before 2-3 hrs of sleep. When you eat something your digestive system becomes active. This increases your blood flow towards your digestive organs rather than your brain.

So, you should avoid eating before sleeping to get quality sleep. If you are too hungry then have a glass of lime water.

2.Avoid stimulants


    If you love your sleep, start hating stimulants. They are neither good for your health nor your sleep. They make your brain active even at night and force you to be awake. 

Many people don't know but coffee is also a kind of stimulant. It speeds up messages between the brain and body. Therefore, it makes you restless.

3.Stop irregular long day naps


    While short power naps are beneficial, long irregular daytime naps can affect your sleep. If you are taking long naps during the daytime, you can end up being sleepier during the daytime.

It is still advised to have short power naps of 30 minutes or less. It enhances your brain functions. On the other hand, long naps can harm your health and sleep quality.

4.Avoid exercises before bed


    If you are doing jogging or other kinds of exercises, try to do it 3-4 hours before going to bed. This is because when you perform some kind of exercise, your body becomes hot.

As you need cool temperatures to sleep, you will not be able to have a good time sleeping.
  

5.Don't bath with hot water


    As you know, your body needs to be at a lower temperature to have a good sleep. When you take a hot bath before going to bed, your body temperature increases, and then your sleep quality decreases.

If you want to take a shower before bed, try to bath with cool water or lukewarm water.


6. Sleep in a cool environment


    Till now you would have known that your body needs low temperature to get quality sleep. So, you should sleep in a room that is cool.

It is recommended to turn on A\C or fan if you are sleeping in a warm temperature environment.

7.Keep away your mobile


    Mobiles are infamous for producing blue light. This blue light can trick your brain into thinking that it is daytime. This will result in inconvenience with sleeping. Try not to use your mobile or pc at least 1-2 hours of sleep.

If you are the guy who has to use the mobile, try to install Twighlight or flux. They replace the blue light with an orange one.

8.Stay away from light

 
    This is really a big mistake most people do. You should stay away from bright light at night. This tricks your brain to think that it is actually daytime.

9.Be comfortable


    Sleep is directly proportional to comfort, i.e, more is the comfort better is the sleep. When you are comfortable, your body feels relaxed and even your brain feels the same. 

So, try to get a nice and soft pillow or other accessories to get good sleep.

10. Stress


    The problem with most people is that as soon as they are in the bed, they start thinking about their problems. They think about every bad thing that happened to them or worry about their future.

This is not the right time to think about these things. Just focus on your movement, breathing, or comfort.
